    • OPENING RETREAT: January 23-24 held in Marshall, VA

    • LIVE Online Group Call: February 10

    • LIVE Online Group Call: March 10

    • LIVE Online Group Call: April 14

    • CLOSING RETREAT: May 22-23 held in Marshall, VA

*Travel & lodging costs are the responsibility of the individual, but local options are made available. Retreat material is recorded and made available for those who cannot attend in person.

**All group calls are available virtually and recorded if you cannot come in person.

  • Plan on blocking off about 45 minutes to 1 hour per week. Each week you will receive an email with the assignment and weekly video. (The assignments can be completed at your leisure and if you need to skip a week, you can always “double up” the following week!)

Beyond the average weekly commitment, there are four additional assignments (1 per foundation). These assignments may take a little extra time, but are beneficial to your life and leadership. They include a 4–8 hour spiritual prayer retreat, completing a story map, a vision and values statement, and developing your network/community.

  • There are monthly live calls scheduled for one hour each. Upon sign-up, you’ll receive the dates for the Live Calls and the zoom links are included on the online host site. The Live Calls are recorded and emailed to the participants the next morning for those who may need to miss the meeting.

  • Joining The Collective Journey Leaders Cohort is an investment of $900 for the 6-month program. This can be paid as a one-time fee or split into six monthly payments of $150. (First-time payment of $150 is non-refundable.)

Upon purchase, you have lifetime access to the curriculum, training materials and bonuses, as well as early access to new programs, coaching opportunities and other bonuses from Lisa Potter.

Concerned about budget, but still want to join?

Many leaders reach out to their parent organization or church to inquire if they’d be willing to cover a portion of the cost or offer reimbursement as part of an ongoing education or leadership development fund.

  • The Collective Journey Cohort is primarily held online through our private course community, but also includes an Opening Retreat and Closing Retreat (both held in-person at Marshall, Virginia) where cohort members can connect on a personal level.

Inside the online course community, you can interact with women who are also on the journey through comments and reflection assignments. In addition, we create a private Chat Room for each group to create space for conversation and relationship-building.

  • I recommend four books to read on your leisure and to purchase for your library. These are not required to complete the journey, but are good books to read to continue deepening your life and leadership path.

    • Strengthening the Soul of Your Leadership (Ruth Haley Barton)

    • A Work of Heart (Reggie McNeal)

    • Dare Mighty Things (Halee Gray Scott)

    • Braving the Wilderness (Brene Brown)

  • While The Collective Journey Leaders Cohort is intended primarily for personal development and community and does not count toward college credit, there is a separate 4-course class, “The Women’s Collective Cohort,” available through Ascent College, that includes many of the principles taught in this book. Click here for details.

  • At the conclusion, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion that will allow you to facilitate hosting a group of your own through The Collective Journey. This is an ideal way to build community with a team of leaders or volunteers at your church, in your ministry, or even in a non-profit organization.
